Brandywine Manor House is happy to provide you with a Master of Ceremonies to guide your ceremony. Ryan McLaughlin provides the most perfect solution for those seeking this service. Ryan meets with each couple individually to determine how you envision your ceremony. He learns about your relationship, from how you met to funny jokes you share and works with you to create your truly unique ceremony that exemplifies the two of you. Attending Millersville University for his undergraduate studies, Ryan went on to Wilkes and Penn State Universities for his Masters and further certifications. In addition to weddings on weekends, Ryan has taught middle school for fifteen years. He and his wife reside in Honey Brook and have eight children.
Ryan is happy to email couples interested in his services and will meet with contracted couples at Brandywine Manor House to discuss their individual ceremony needs.
For this service, couples apply for a self-uniting wedding license in Pennsylvania. The marriage license is usually the same cost as a traditional marriage license. The difference simply notes that you are self-marrying and that a pastor, priest, rabbi, or judge will not be officiating. In lieu of an officiant signature, the bride and groom and two witnesses sign the document (usually the Best Man and Maid or Matron of Honor). Several brides have included the signing of the marriage license as a part of their ceremony!
