Let’s be honest: wedding planning is tough. It wasn’t that long ago that I was planning my own wedding – and I had to do it in only six months! I very seriously remember how stressful and overwhelmed I felt at various times throughout my engagement. So many different vendors, so many different decisions… planning a wedding is definitely not easy.
As stressful as wedding planning was, on my big day, I was able to relax and enjoy my day because I had hired a Day of Coordinator to check in with the vendors, keep the bridal party on time, make sure I drank plenty of water, and to ensure that everything went exactly as planned so I didn’t have to.
There are many reasons why hiring a Day of Coordinator is beneficial to your big day. So many brides wait until the last minute to realize that they don’t want to be fielding calls and questions from the florist and caterer on the morning of their wedding day. When it finally arrives, allow someone else to handle the stress of the day.
Using a coordinator allows you time to relax. In the morning, you can have your hair and makeup done without feeling like you have to check in with each vendor and constantly check the time. As you get ready in our Bridal Suite, the Coordinator will be there to make sure you have everything you need and get whatever you may need as the day goes on. In the evening, she will continuously check in to make sure everything is going as planned so you can relish the time with your new husband and dance the night away. And at the end of the night, she’ll pack everything up so you can say your goodbyes and head off to your honeymoon.
Too often, moms or maids of honor get stuck doing a lot of the leg-work on the day of the wedding. They end up being the driver, decorater, and time-keeper. It’s important to remember that this is an important day for them, too! Our Day of Coordinators take care of everything, from the set-up to the breakdown, keeping everyone aware of their time and place as the day goes on, leaving your family and bridal party free to enjoy the day alongside you.
