This cold has gotten us so excited for spring and summer! The snow is beautiful, but we’re ready for some warm weather. In an attempt to escape the cold, today, we’re going back to the summer of 2011 – meet Nick and Aimee.
On a warm and sunny day, these two were married in a church before coming back to Brandywine Manor House to celebrate during their reception. They chose local photographer Siousca Photography to take their photos. All photos in this post are credited to Siousca Photography. We love the creativity of this photographer! He’s been here a few times since their wedding, and he always does a great job. If you’d like to see Siousca Photography’s full post on Nick and Aimee’s wedding, head here.
Nick and Aimee chose such a fun color combination – bright green with a rose red. These colors made quite an impact in the Crown Ballroom! The contrast between the greens and reds with the white Japanese lanterns created a romantic feel for their reception.
While their guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, Nick, Aimee, and their bridal party wandered the grounds of BMH for photos. They took some of their bridal party photos on the Manor porch. We love how Nick is sitting and holding onto Aimee! After finishing their bridal party photos, Nick and Aimee strolled all around, even taking some photos behind the pond.
Their reception was so much fun! Nick and Aimee chose to book our Uplighting and Colorsplash package for the Crown Ballroom. Their guests danced all night under the beautiful starlights. We loved the color they chose and the view from outside as the sky got darker.
During their reception, it started to rain! Thankfully, our Crown Ballroom is the perfect shelter from rain. You can even leave the walls open! Nick and Aimee took it all in stride – and even got some amazing photos out of it!
Nick and Aimee, we are so appreciative that you chose Brandywine Manor House! You had a beautiful day and were so sweet and easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your special day with us. 🙂
